We hope to be back in 2026 with another fabulous BMS on 10th May, we are currently just awaiting the agreement from the Rugby Club.

Bude Motor Show

JEMS are delighted to have taken over the running of this event, held on the second Sunday in May. The motor show was always a must in the "car calendar", with hundreds of vehicles, both modern and classic, attending the Rugby Club, which is situated within walking distance of both Bude town and the beautiful coastal beaches. The Motor Show raises much needed money for local charities, and in our first year we are proud to have supported The Pearl Exchange & Bude Cancer Support (see out donations page)
More information on our donation process and JEMS can be found on the "about" page.

EXHIBITORS
Vehicle entry has always been free and by donation in order to raise as much funds as possible for local Bude charities. Tickets are still free, but with a charity donation option (donation can be adjusted on the ticket booking). Gates open at 7am and close at 9.30am until 4pm.
The past events have been on a "first to arrive - turn up" system, leaving some beautiful vehicles to be turned away and outside in the street once the field is full, causing people to be angry and upset and taking it out on the volunteers running the event.
We are, therefore, trialling an online booking system for the event, which will hopefully mean exhibitors don't waste journey time or end up parked outside.

If your vehicle is not listed on the ticket option, your section is full, or you wish to attend as a club, please contact us and we will endeavour to help

PUBLIC
The event opens to the public from 10am until 4pm.
Entry to the event is by donation, and the ideal entry point is from Bencoolen playground. There is no parking for public vehicles at the Rugby Club, the nearest car parks are TIC/Crescent Carpark or Summerleaze Carpark. Please park sensibly if you park elsewhere.
There are also food vendors, craft and trade stalls at the venue, and the Rugby Club is open for food and drink.

JB and Me/Lightning McQueen

JEMS are really happy to say that Lightning came to visit us at Bude Motor Show and he is also ran his own car show, with the help of his friends JB and ME, for the children.

JEMS would like to express their sincere thanks to Julian and the staff at Bude Rugby Club, Bude Motor Club and all our volunteers and helpers.
